Q. THE TREE ON MY SIDE LAWN HAS GROWN UP, AND NOW SMALL BRANCHES ARE RUBBING AGAINST THE SERVICE LINES. DO I HAVE TO REMOVE THE TREE? WILL PSNH REMOVE IT FOR ME?
A. Service lines are very well insulated. Even a branch that's as thick as a man's finger won't harm the service line. In fact, a wire is more likely to cut through the branch. If a heavy branch takes down the wire, call PSNH to reattach the wire for free. Then call McClure's Tree Service for a free evaluation of the tree. We'll let you know if it needs pruning, deadwooding or other treatment.
